Monitored Alarms Northern Ireland

A Monitored Intruder Alarm is connected to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Therefore, in addition to the normal benefits of a basic alarm, should your alarm be triggered by a suspected intruder or by a heat or smoke sensor, the ARC is notified via a private communicator. The Alarm Receiving Centre will then inform key holders and/or the police depending on which options you have chosen. Basic Alarms in Northern Ireland, can have sounders both inside and outside the property. However, they also provide the added benefit of 24 hour, 7 days a week monitoring and the peace of mind that brings.

Grade 2, Grade 3 and Grade 4 Monitored Burglar Alarms Northern Ireland

If you require police and key holder response, you must have a minimum of a Grade 2 Alarm Systems installed. The type of monitoring will depend on the risk involved. Low-risk situations can use a secure telephone line to communicate with the ARC, a better option would be to use Dual-Communication i.e. both telephone and wireless communication, with one or the other as back up. There are a variety of Monitored Alarm Systems on the market including RedCare, GSM, DualCom and FreeCom. There is also a security solution for properties which do not have a land line, in the form of a Wireless GPRS / GSM mobile phone transmissions.

If you require an insurance rated alarm with police response, the system will need to comply with the PSNI Police Response to Security Systems Policy Directive.
